Fall is well under way for Women in Consulting with several new programs and events for members. Niqui Hunt is coordinating three exciting member education workshops for the Fall. The first workshop entitled "Value Based Pricing" has already sold out due to popularity, and we anticipate tremendous interest in the second two upcoming workshops in October (How to Set Profitable Rates) and November (Guerilla Marketing for Brand You!) Be sure to sign up early for these valuable workshops so you don't miss out!.

We also plan to host our first annual Silent Auction and Networking event on October 16, 2003. Deb Henken is coordinating this event, which will be a great opportunity for WIC members, the WIC community, and the broader business community to practice new networking techniques and bid on fabulous items, including a lunch with VCs, a Tahoe vacation, and sporting and event tickets. We expect this event to generate much needed revenue that will allow WIC to expand our presence in the business community and deliver more value-add services to members over the coming months.

Sincerely,

Kate Purmal
President, Women in Consulting
